Life will be filled with frustration, pain, loss, and the unpredictable actions of others. You can’t change that; but you can change the way you let such events affect you. Controlling your angry responses can keep them from making you even more unhappy in the long run.
Those people who don't give up on you.
You deserve much more than a simple “thanks”. You deserve so much more than that. Having to stay by my side, enduring what I’m dealing with means so much. Maybe not right at the spot, but definitely afterwards. I don’t need you to check up on me and ask what’s the problem or what’s the matter. Open ears and arms held out out wide for me is just all I need. The comfort and care your provide, your own time that you sacrifice for me is just remarkable. And this why I’m able to stand proudly on my two feet. Thank you, to all of you that have been there for me.
